With rising costs of living being a primary concern for many, budget tracking has gained popularity for its ease to summarise our spending habits month to month.

The TrackMySPEND app was developed by the Australian Securities and Investments commission (ASIC) to assist Australians in tracking where they are spending their money.

Just set your spending limit and enter your expenses, the app then categorises each expense and shows you the remaining balance as well as which areas you are spending the most in. Then it is up to you as to whether you would prefer to save the remaining amount or allow yourself a treat for staying within your budget for the month.
