Faye Kinnersly was a former resident at Ingenia Gardens Sovereign, before moving to Gandarra Palliative Care Unit for her final weeks. Husband Wesley and the wonderful residents at Ingenia Gardens Sovereign wanted to honour the beloved member of the community and were thrilled to hold an event.

Residents put their creative skills to use to knit handmade comfort blankets, that were presented to the Gandarra Palliative Care Unit and created more soft goods and donated some of their pre-loved items to raffle off. The money raised went towards making the Gandarra Palliative Care Unit feel more homely and comfortable.

The support from the community was outstanding and a beautiful way to celebrate Faye.
